Is there a way to stop emojis saved for contacts on the phone on emails? It’s annoying and feels like an invasion of privacy.

It’s not clear what you mean. Can you give an example? Perhaps a screenshot?
I don’t want everyone to see the emojis I have for people on my phone. I have different emojis for lots of people.
Have you verified that your contact labels show up on the other end? I don’t believe the do. But, if they do, don’t put emoji in the contact label.
