Can someone hack my MacBook Air? How can I tell???

I have a older MacBook Air, let 2015. Have had issues with the mouse seemingly randomly moving on its own, so am suspicious I have been hacked. Also, I am in the US and I somehow have an Amazon account for India! Is there a way to check to see if I have been hacked, maybe through my Apple ID??
