Can one magic keyboard be used with several iPads

Three iPads in our family - all keyboard compatible. Do not have a keyboard at present. Will one keyboard be usable between all family members?

iPad Air, iPadOS 16

The Magic Keyboard for iPad is available for several models of iPad - each only being usable with specific models of iPad. The Smart Connector (with which the Magic Keyboard connects with the iPad) and the array of magnets (that hold the iPad in place) differ in their physical location.

If all your iPads are the same model, a single compatible Magic Keyboard can be used with them all. If your iPads are different models, you will need to verify compatibility of your single Magic Keyboard.

You can verify model compatibility from Apple’s Magic Keyboard product pages.
