How to change back the disk image APFS volume back into normal folder

I've recently found out that we could encrypt and password protect files in folder, so i chose to do it for security. But i'm wondering before i erase the original version(normal files with no password, as creating disk image copies it) how do i restore back into the original version?

i've experimented by making another disk image, and doing restore,

which fails

tried with image > convert, and scan image for restore which all gives error

i'm really bad at these stuffs so please do give me tips if i'm doing anything wrong here

or if you do have solutions

*Currently on version Montery 12.6 (forgot to update everytime)

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4
