Programmes from BBC iplayer show in 'What's Up Next' on Apple TV main screen. I dont use this app to watch any TV programmes and can’t see how to remove it from my TV feed? All other channels are optional e.g. Amazon, channel 4, ITV etc. all have a switch I can use to plug them into my feed but I can’t see where this is for the iPlayer app?
In short I dont want to access or see anything from the BBC so how do I disable this content?
Find your “connected apps” in Settings﹥Apps﹥[ᴀᴘᴘ sᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢs] TV app﹥Connect to TV﹥, for those that have an on|off setting for being connected this way.
You shouldn’t get content presented from apps that you do not have installed.
If you have suggestions to Apple on how to improve the experience, then please give them feedback comments.
In connected apps all apps are off and, as you say, I assumed that I should not see content from these apps but if does show! Happy to see content from Apple TV but as don’t use player or Disney not interested in seeing what is available on these apps. Find it annoying to click on titles to find they are from other apps.
