Wire showing in Macbook charging cord

Hi, so there's a little bit of wire showing in my Macbook cord. It isn't that big but it has been harder to charge my Macbook lately and I think that might be the reason. Sometimes, when I've finally gotten it to start charging after like 10 tries, it'll stop in the middle too. I've only had it for about 4 months now. My last wire had to be replaced because my cat bit it but it's not the case with this one. It's been kept on top of my desk, there's been no accidental fall or slamming, etc. I can not think of a reason why it happened. Is there any way I can fix it and get my computer charging again without having to buy a new one?

Hi,

I think you should't use your charger any more, it would damages your MacBook Air with it.

Try to take your charger to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined there. They could fix it up.
