soundflower on Ventura

Can the soundflower extension work on Ventura 13.0.1

I don't believe so. as of Big Sur, it became very difficult to install. I myself abandoned soundflower back then in favour of BlackHole Virtual Audio Driver since I didn't feel comfortable recommending something I didn't use.


if you currently have soundflower installed and it has stopped working, you can try blackhole. if you need help in removing soundflower, let me know and I can help with that.

I am using macOS Monterrey 12.6. I have Soundflower installed and it works fine. I created a Multi-Output Device using the Audio Midi Setup. I added the Soundflower (2ch) device to the setup, set the MacBook Pro speakers as the Master device and the Soundflower device as secondary.


I don't know if it works on Ventura. Therefore, I am hesitant to upgrade at this time.


BlackHole stopped working on my Mac once I upgraded to Monterrey.
