I have iCloud storage and cannot find any photos from before 2019

Photos older than 10 years disappeared I back up my photos to the iCloud. I went to look at old photos today in my library and all my photos older than 10/26/2014 are gone. I have plenty of storage available on iCloud. Where could the photos be?

Where are my photos from 2016 I have been an iPhone user for over 10 years and have been paying for iCloud storage whenever it asks! Where are my photos from the beginning of 2017, 2016, 2015 and so on??!

They are probably in your hidden album.
