Find trash email
I can't find a particular email in my Trash. It's been less than a month since I discarded it.

Right Click on the Trash folder, Click on "Get Account Info", Then in the new window that pops up, double click on the Trash folder again. Then all the trash emails will come into the original Trash Folder. I just tried this as mine were also missing but this worked just fine.
Depending on your email provider and if you are using IMAP mail all the trash emails will be deleted by the server in about 2-4 weeks (removed from your Mac). Possible to find in your TM backup in your user/library/mail file system but not easy to find.
To restore mailbox:
Open Finder
Click “GO” in top menu bar then click option key
Select library
Select mail folder
Open Vx folder (x can be any number)
Then find the folders labeled with cryptic titles (at this point you could open TM if you want to go back in time)
Look down through those folders to find a mailbox (note: there may be more than one with same label).
If it contains email you want you can copy to desktop
Go back into mail and import that folder from your desktop
How am I to right click when I'm using a track pad or Apple mouse?
You can turn on right click capability in System Settings, Mouse (Secondary Click = Click Right Side). Also, a right click on the track pad is to touch it with two fingers.
I've learned a lot. Thank you. However, I want to fid my older trashed emails. From November if possible.
