When you create a reminder, the option 'Details' shows. When you tap on that, you can then enable 'Date', and when you do, the 'Repeat' option shows. You'd then tap on 'Repeat, then tap the 'Custom' option. You'd set the 'Frequency' to 'Monthly', then 'Every' to 2 months. Lastly, you'd set the date on which you want the reminder to start.

Reminder to change HVAC filters every 2 months fires. I am out of town for 2 weeks. When I return I replace the filters, but the next time I want the reminder to fire 2 months from the date I changed the filters, not from the original date.
