Not able to sing in on jMac

Forgot my User name to sign in on Mac. How can I log in to change the user name?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

Try using. If you forgot your Mac login password

It is not the signin password that I forgot. It is the username. Have bn searching, but all I get is “if you forgot the signin passwords”, which is totally useless. Hope someone out there can help me. Thanks.
