cannot installa mac os x mavericks

Hi to everyone, i have a problem to install os X mavericks.

When i try to install Mavericks on an iMac 20'' early 2008, the installer asks the id apple, but when i enter the credentials it says that there are wrong, even tough there are correct.

What can I do?

This is likely because you have 2 factor authentication enabled on your Apple ID. You might have to enter the password normally for a compatible device (OS X El Capitan or newer) to get a popup with the code. Then, you put in the code (no spaces) straight after your password in the password field.

OS X Mavericks is no longer available, and therefore the installer you're using may have oddities. The installer may also be asking for the Apple ID of the original owner, or the Apple ID used for downloading the OS X Mavericks installer.

If you have access to another Mac that OS X El Capitan supports, OS X El Capitan - Technical Specifications, create an OS X El Capitan installer, and use it: Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support.

Try booting into recovery mode using Command + Option + R which may allow you to reinstall without authenticating with an AppleID (Apple's documentation on this is not clear, but worth a try).

Otherwise, if your iMac is unable to boot to the internal drive (or into Safe Mode), then you will need access to another Qualifying Mac in order to create a bootable macOS 10.11 USB installer as suggested by @Jack-19. A Qualifying Mac is generally one from 2008 to 2015. If you don't have access to another Qualifying Mac, then you will need to use the retail copy of the OS X 10.6 upgrade DVD.
