Arcade multi player mode

I cannot enter the multiplayer mode

Error code is mm059

does anyone know what to do?

Hi ANAENE,

Is your iPad updated to the current iPadOS 16.2 when you go to Settings > General > About?

Play games with Apple Arcade - This is a good reference for playing games.

Are you able to accept friend requests to play games? If not, what happens when you try?

Do you have any restrictions set up in Screen Time? See Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you still are unable to play games with others, let us know the steps you are following, does it happen with all games?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Yes, the iPad uses iPadOS 16.2.

Yes, I can accept friend requests!

No restrictions are set up in Screen Time.

Yes, it happens across games, it always shows the same error code mm059.

I first thought as well that this has to do with setting restrictions as it is the iPad of a child but even when I have no restrictions on that iPad it still does not work.
