Hey , I got this phone for Christmas from my brother , and when I try to change my sim card in it , it says ; SIM CARD NOT SUPPORTED . I went in store to the company I am with ( vidéotron ) They said that is cause the phone is blocked with the other company that brother got it from ( Bell ) . They both told us we need to contact you so you can have more details on the phone ?

OK… The phone is carrier locked. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. You’ll have to work it out with them.

Apple can not remove the carrier lock. If it’s locked to Bell, only Bell can remove the carrier lock. You’ll have to work it out with them.
I have I phone 14. It says unlocked-no sim restrictions. Originally on US Cellular and Verizon can not activate it. Verizon and Apple both state it is other companies problem. What gives? Verizon could not activate esim in my iphone 11. Thankfully I use physical sim. So now my iphone 14 is a paper weight.
