Encryption credentials have expired

Encryption credentials have expired. How do I fix and correct this situation?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

That’s usually an issue with the printer itself, or maybe with the printer and printer drivers.


If this is an HP printer, here is what HP suggests: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06447928


I’d also look for firmware updates for the printer, while you’re working on this.


If your MacBook Pro supports macOS newer than macOS 10.13 High Sierra (from the footer), I’d suggest an upgrade, too. MacBook Pro from mid 2012 and newer can get to at least macOS 10.14 Mojave, and potentially newer version of macOS.
