Matched AAC files have Cloud Status listed as "Error"

Hello,

I have a music library of a little over 26k items. I am an Apple Music subscriber. I recently bought a new Mac mini, and to migrate my library to my new computer I used the Music app to download my iCloud Library. Now, however, I have 8,495 files that are listed as "Matched AAC audio file" under Kind, but have a Cloud Status of "Error". I have tried manually updating the iCloud Library (File>Library>Update Cloud Library), have turned Sync Library off and back on again (Music>Settings>uncheck Sync Library), to no effect. I also have few files that are listed as "Matched" under Cloud Status, but which are greyed out (the matched file was not downloaded). Any suggestions on how to clear these errors?

Thanks!

Mac mini, macOS 13.0

Unfortunately iTunes/Music are less than helpful when it comes to what the error might actually be, but if the files play in the local library try selecting them, then right-click and use Add to Library, to see if that will refresh them. In some cases what works is to create a second cloud only library, remove problem items from there, then revert to the original library where the tracks should now show as removed, and you can try adding to library again.

Yes, I do still have the old computer. I downloaded my Library from the Cloud so that I could get the upgraded, matched versions of the songs Apple Music was able to find matches for. The problem isn't that the files are missing, in fact I can see the new matched AAC files in the finder when I right-click a song and select "Show in Finder". I can play the matched AAC files locally when I disconnect my internet access. But the Music app still lists their Cloud Status as "Error". Does this make sense? I'm not sure what the error actually is...
