Troubleshooting Logins:
A. Is this Two-Factor Authentication?
Are you referring to a text message for logging into your Apple ID (as Two-Factor Authentication)?
B. Do you Have a Different Photo Number?
If you have a different phone number, then you need to get the number changed.
Apple Store Support Contact Us Info:
These ae just User-to-User forums. You need to change this yourself. No on here has access to your Apple Account (which is a good thing, BTW). So, call Apple, informing an Apple Rep that you want to change the assigned phone number to your account. If permitted, the Apple Rep would make the change.
