to change the language iPhone SE

It should be easy to change the preferred language on the iPhone, but not mine.

I got multiple language on my iPhone, but when I try to change the preferred language, I can't find the "iPhone language " icon which should show on top of the menu on Language.

In order to switch the language, I have to delete one that I want to use, and add back again, when the phone asked if the language that added back would be the one I want to use, I click Yes, then it could be done.

It had a much easier way previously. What am I missing?

MY google nest understand 2 language. To set up routine in Japanese, it requires to switch the language.

I just figured out how. Just swapping the language by the finger. Top listed one would be the primary.

Now I knowNo need for the help

Why would you want to change the language of your menus and dialogues more than once?

Are you talking about changing keyboards instead?
