Website Data: Cookies

On my iPad mini 6, when I look at the website data for cookies, I only see 0 bytes. however, everything is working fine, sites launching okay etc.

Is this normal??

iPad logging out of websites after restart This began about three weeks, and I’ve yet to be offered a solution - and I can’t find my previous posts about it on here! On My iPad (mini, 5th generation) web-based have been logged out when I restart it. WhatsApp, Newspapers sites - anything that’s not an app, but is linked to a website. Previously WhatsApp sometimes timed out after a period of not using it, but not often, while everything else remained logged in. This doesn’t happen to the same sites on my iPhone , only the iPad (although, obviously, WhatsApp is an app on there) so i don’t believe it to be connected to cookies. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

ios 18 cookies management issue Hi i updated with ios18 this morning and have now found that when presented with the cookie page to accept all, decline all or manage, although the buttons appear and appear to depress when clicked it’s not actually selecting whichever choice I make. I’ve tried restarting the phone, blocking all cookies (though they never were before, and wasn’t selected when I followed: settings; apps; advanced etc) and then returning it to the default setting. So yes, a wonderful update however any google result is the only part of the webpage that you’ll see and the cookie overlay just won’t disappear 😡

Clearing Cookies:

The only way this would be abnormal is if preselected items are still selected. Cookies keep a remembrance of data your entered and selected. So, if nothing is the same, any you need to select it all again, then all is working just fine, and normal.
