My brand new iPhone has refused to charge and always says liquid detected in lightening connector. I have done everything possible like standing it up, trying new chargers, upgrading the IOS but it still shows that. I’m honestly disturbed.

If it's brand new, return it for a refund.

The phone came with a sealed brand new carton. Might be old stock but shouldn’t have that issue since it is brand new
