I have my phone set to allow ringing when do not disturb is on but when my partner rings twice in 3 mins it doesn’t ring. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong as I can’t make it work. I do have the side switch set to do not disturb as I don’t want it to ring first time but I’m unsure why it won’t ring if a second call is done. My partner is facing the same thing

We understand you want to set Do Not Disturb but want to allow calls from a Contact. To isolate the issue, have you tested another Contact? If everything works as expected, try setting up the affected Contact again and test.
Check your call settings: Answer or decline incoming calls on iPhone.
Look at your specific Do Not Disturb settings: Use Do Not Disturb with Focus on your iPhone or iPad.
Check your Focus settings to see if you've set up that Contact the way you prefer: Allow or silence notifications for a Focus on iPhone.
