I was wondering why my cellular data shows that it’s connected but it never works when not connected to a vpn? The moment I connect to a vpn everything that has to use internet suddenly works with my cellular data. This happened with my old android as well. (Currently using iPhone 13 Pro)

Is your VPN for access to a business or school private network? If so, perhaps the network manager wants all traffic to go through their system so it can be tracked.
