Apple TV app on Mac to Apple TV app on Roku

I’m converting DVD’s that I’ve bought over the years and loading them on the Apple TV app on my MacBook. But, they Won’t show up on my ROKU Apple TV app. What am I missing? Or, Is it just not possible to put your own DVD’s in Apple TV Library and it being shared across other devices with the Apple TV app?

Thanks.

User can share local media files to an Apple TV box using Home Sharing. That feature is not available to the Apple TV app on third party devices.

Users can AirPlay to most Rokus (when AirPlay is activated on the receiving device); try that for local media files.

Not sure about Roku apps that can access media files on computers.
