I cloud password matchs on I phone, I pas but not on Macbookpro 15'' with Catalina "Conecting error". We've allready try to change passeword but it didn't works.

We also errased the Gmail mail account in the setting.

It is the I cloud identificator of my dougther. She is sharing a part of my Icloud family.

what can I do.?

How long does it take for iCloud to update my password on other devices? I setup a new apple ID as an administrator account for multiple new macs we received at a non-profit computer center for our retirement community. I successfully created the account and can log into/out of it on the device I created it from just fine. On ANY other computer (Mac or PC) it tells me the password or email account is bad; so I changed it... Again, it works with the icloud account I created ONLY on the device I changed it on. All other Apple or even PC computers if I try to log into iCloud with that newly changed password and icloud email address tell me the password or user ID is bad. It seems like there is an extended delay in updating iCloud's password/user ID database - it is apparently not immediately changed when you change it on a device. So how long is the "lag" time? How long do I have to wait after changing an iCloud account password before that change is recognized when logging on through any other device than the one on which the change is made? iCloud password not working for https://appleid.apple.com/sign-in Hi there I've been trying to access https://appleid.apple.com/sign-in and https://register.apple.com/placesonmaps/. Both log-in pages reject my Apple ID password although that still works for accessing iCloud on all devices... I've had a look through various threads and while it seems as though this may be fairly common I haven't found a solution or an explanation. Any thoughts? Cheers all!

Same Apple ID uses different passwords on different machines I’m trying to help a friend who’s not good with tech. He has an iPhone 12 and a Dell laptop. He’s been having trouble accessing his iCloud email via Windows Mail on his PC. I reset the app specific password and he can now receive iCloud email but not send. Further investigation revealed an anomaly with his Apple ID. He has an Apple ID using his iCloud email address but he logs on with different passwords depending on whether he’s logging on from his PC or iPhone. I’ve checked thoroughly and the Apple ID is definitely the same on both devices. First of all I didn’t think this was possible and second when I tried to change his password on his PC to the same password as is on his iPhone it told me I couldn’t use a password I’d used previously. I would try to delete and reset both passwords but I’m slightly concerned that we have two different accounts here (despite the same Apple ID) and I might end up deleting one entire account. As far as I can tell the data (received emails and files etc.) is the same when viewed from either the PC or the iPhone, however I didn’t do an exhaustive check so some might be different. In all cases I access via “appleid.apple.com” then “manage Apple ID”. I would be grateful for any advice as to how to resolve this situation.

If you've been unable to sign into iCloud on your MacBook Pro due to an error relating to the iCloud connection, it may not be related to the password. You'll want to try working through the steps in this support article to see if they resolve the issue for you: If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud
