Apple Music drops Bluetooth connection Every time I’ve tried to play Apple Music via Bluetooth on my Audioengine HD3 speakers, the connection would drop after a few seconds. Other music streaming apps did not disconnect. I finally found the culprit (cause)… I have Boom installed on my iPhone which provides enhanced equalizer capabilities. When I turned off Boom’s access to Apple Music, no more disconnects!!! So if having similar issue, check if other apps have access to Apple Music. Hope this helps others.

apple music choppy while on car bluetooth. Playback in the car over bluetooth with Apple Music often skips or gets choppy. Phone calls are fine, Spotify from my daughter's iPhone is fine. The only issue is with Apple Music from my phone. I don't have a subscription this is music synced from iTunes on my Mac to the phone and I always select "downloaded" music on my phone so that I am not streaming. Not 100% sure but it seems to be worse in low signal areas which shouldn't be an issue since I'm playing downloaded music on my phone over bluetooth. Again, not an issue in any other app just Apple Music.

Bluetooth keeps disconnecting on Apple music for android I'm using Apple Music on my android phone (Redmi Note 10), and for some reason all my Bluetooth devices keep disconnecting when I change the song or when a song has ended and a new song is starting. I've found a thread noting the same issue and tried all the suggestions: - reinstalling the app - clearing the cache - restarting my phone - resetting the speaker itself and the Bluetooth settings on my phone - force stopping the app - disabling battery saver settings None of those work, and on top of that Spotify and all other apps using the speaker run just fine. The only workaround I've found is downloading the songs before playing them but that is hardly a permanent fix. Please take a look at this issue, I'd hate to switch off this app because other than that it's pretty great. Thank you

Apple Music expects to play to AirPlay devices. You may be able to redirect your Mac's audio output to Bluetooth.
