Check what software I own on Windows

Hello everybody,

I currently own a Windows PC (Windows11), and I am considering b

uying a MacBook.

I have owned MacOS devices in the past I owned a MacBook 2013 and I know I bought some software for it (Logic Pro and some other DJ program) I would like to check what software I own. Is there a way to check on Windows? I only found answers using MacOS.

I got a good deal on a MacBook Air 2020 with M1 and 8GB.I guess that's enough for light coding. Any problems with that MacBook model? Don't want the Keyboard to break after 100h like the butterfly one. Not wanting to hate on apple, but the devices are a pain to repair and AppleCare is not in my budget. So please don't fanboy on me.

Windows, Windows 10

What you had purchased from Apple will still be associated with the Apple ID that was used.

Here is how to: View and manage purchased apps in the App Store on Mac - Apple Support

How useful those older app purchases might still be will vary.

I am not aware of a means to check Mac purchases from Microsoft Windows.

You might log in from a Mac located at an Apple Store (or borrowed elsewhere), and check there.

i generally don’t suggest a new Mac with less than 16 GB, if the user has plans to keep the Mac for five or seven years.

What an M-class Mac ships with for memory and storage is what it will always have. No upgrades.

A MacBook Air M1 with 8 GB is well below what I’d suggest for use with Xcode.

Xcode swills both memory and storage.

Other development tools might be lighter or heavier-weight.

Recent and current Apple keyboards are fine, per accounts, and per the comparatively few discussions around here.
