Troubleshooting Apple Watch/iPhone Pairing:

First, Try Updating Both Devices First:

Perhaps there are some bugs that need to be fixed. To fix these, update both.

Apple Watch: Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support
iPhone: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then... Attempt this Once More:

Pair them: Set up and pair Apple Watch with iPhone - Apple Support
Form There: If your Apple Watch isn't Connected or Paired with your iPhone - Apple Support
