Accidental deletion in Freeform

I was working on a drawing in Freeform, and must have accidentally touched some thing, because everything disappeared. I can’t figure out how to get it back. So two questions: 1. Is there a way to get my work back? 2. What is a good app to use for drawing on an iPad other than Freeform?

iPad Pro, 11-inch, 4th Gen, Wi-Fi

Hello lilypadthai,

This information from Delete your Freeform boards on iPad - Apple Support may help you in finding the board you where working on:

Recover a recently deleted board

If you change your mind about deleting a board, open Recently Deleted to recover the board.

If you delete a board that you started and shared with others, it no longer appears on anyone’s device.

1. While browsing All Boards, tap Recently Deleted in the sidebar.
If you’re in Split View, tap the Back button, then tap Recently Deleted.

2. Do one of the following:
• Recover a board: Touch and hold the thumbnail or name of the recently deleted board, then tap Recover.
• Recover several boards: Tap Select in the top-right corner, then tap the boards you want to recover. (A checkmark appears as you select each one.) Tap Recover at the bottom of the screen.
• Permanently remove a recently deleted board: Select the board in the Recently Deleted list, tap Delete, then tap Delete in the dialog.

Deleted boards remain in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

If you delete a board you’ve been added to as a participant, you may be able to access it again if you still have the link you received when you were invited to open the board.

As for apps for drawing on the iPad, reading the reviews in the App Store is where we usually start.

Have a good day.
