Notification sound

Can I change the default notification sound or do I have to change each one through the individual app?

How do I change the default notification sound in iOS? Hello, how do I change the default notification sound in iOS for other random apps that do not have configurable notification sounds. It’s impossible for me to tell the difference between a notification from an important work message (Zoom), and a notification from my doorbell (Nest). They all use the default “Tri-tone” notification sound.

It is not possible to change the main notification sound (Tri-Tone). Some apps allow you to change the notification tone, this must be done in the specific app.
