Screen won’t rotate
my rotation screen stays in one position on my ipad?

Have you checked that Rotation Lock isn't on...? Swipe down from the top-right corner and you should see this:
If that icon is solid white, it means rotation lock is turned on. Tap it to turn it off to restore rotation functionality.
If that is NOT the issue, please post back with more info.
