I was in my notes app, and one of my folders called dog tips, and I think I hit some thing that either moved it or deleted it and now I cannot find it anywhere. I have searched recent deletes, and it’s nowhere.

If you store your notes with a third-party account or email service, like Gmail or Yahoo, check your settings:

1. In the Settings app, tap Mail.
2. Tap Accounts, then tap the email account that you want to check.
3. Make sure that Notes is on.

Also, do you use iCloud for your Notes? If you don't, it's possible the note might be included in a recent backup, and you can check for a backup with these steps: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
