Macbook Pro 13" 2017 Screen Replacement

Hello,

So I just purchased a used A1708 Macbook Pro and I already know the existence of flexgate issue. I have few questions if in case my Macbook is affected by the issue

Does the screen replacement fix the faulty cable? I mean does the new screen's cable has 2mm longer flex cable?
If not, can I replace it with 2018 Macbook Pro 13" screen?

macbook pro 13" model 2017 A 1708 screen replacement Need to replace screen on my 2017 macbook pro 13 inch. I don't know where to get the original or refurbish screen but there are many parts via amazon. Wondering if anyone had a experience with amazon or any provider ?
