Is my apple series 3 watch compatible w my iPhone 14 pro

Yes, but series 3 watch will only pair with iPhones 8-14 if on 16.1.1 or later with a bit of luck and a following wind. You would do best to erase the Watch completely and pair without restoring the Watch backup.

Even then I give you 50:50 at best.
