How to undo accidentally “delete and report junk” in messages

Hello, I just upgraded to iOS 16 via new iPhone SE 3g and within a day or so accidentally “deleted and report as junk” a message from my building’s package alert service. I immediately tried to shake to undo but nothing happened. I also looked around for the message but couldn’t find it in the deleted messages folder. Googled it and quickly found the forums dialogue trail where ann apple support rep asks more questions (despite the issue being clear and found helpful by MANY people) and seems to say nothing can be done. I wanted to reply there but none of the reply buttons worked despite the issue reported only a couple months ago and another person chiming in w a similar problems so began a new thread. This is going to happen a bunch, no doubt. Please respond and at least say the fix is in the queue.
