My spotlight searches don’t contain photos
iOS 16 and iPad 16. I get no photos
results from a search. All the switches in settings for search are on
any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. Just to confirm, in Settings > Siri & Search > Photos, you have 'Show App in Search' and 'Show Content in Search' enabled on both devices, correct?

Change search settings
You can change the search settings to limit which apps and results appear while you're searching. Here's how:
1. Go to Settings and tap Siri & Search.
2. Scroll down and select an app.
3. Then select Show App in Search, Show Content in Search, Show on Home Screen, Suggest App, or Suggest Notifications.
To turn off Siri Suggestions for all apps, go to Settings > Siri & Search, and turn off the settings you want.
