Why is iCloud saying the maximum amount of free account has been used in this phone

You are asking why your phone is getting messages advising that your iCloud storage is full.


The free plan is 5GB, beyond which there are three paid subscriptions. As your available iCloud space is full you can resolve this problem by purchasing one of the subscriptions - or deleting content, but you will find that your iCloud space will continue to reach the limit available.


The space is not on your phone - it is on Apple's servers and it is from this source that your rent space in the subscription.
