Hello,
i am currently using iphone 11. However, I am NOT able to receive texts for verifications/security codes from short SMS numbers. For example, when logging into any websites, they send me an SMS with a security number that I need to input into the websites to login. they said the code been send but i never received it. And it’s not my device because I now have a new device just same number and iCloud.

Does this happen with receiving short codes from multiple companies? If so, you may not be receiving the messages if "Filter Unknown Senders" is enabled in Settings > Messages > Filter Unknown Senders. To see more information about filtering unwanted messages, review this article: Block, filter, and report messages on iPhone.
If Filter Unknown Senders is off, we suggest contacting your carrier since SMS messages are handled through them. They should be able to further look into your account with you.
