I don't know old passcode.

I forgot my passcode for my iPhone and got locked out. I restored it to factory settings, and then restored from back up. Everything else seems to be working except iMessages. The old ones are gone. It says messages in icloud currently disabled. To repair, I have to enter my old password which I don't have. Not having that password is the exact reason I started this process!

If you have a backup there is nothing to worry.

If you enter the wrong passcode on your iPhone Lock Screen too many times, an alert lets you know that your iPhone is disabled. (Learn what to do if you see "[Device] unavailable" or "Security Lockout" on your iPhone or iPad.)

I did all of that. It's completely restored EXCEPT imessages. All old imessages are gone. I can send and receive but the history is gone. the message says "Messages in iCloud is currently disabled." and then in blue it says "Repair Messages" as a link. When I click that I enter Apple ID. Then I must enter my current phone passcode. End THEN I see this. The reason I started all of this is because I do not know this password. When I click "Don't Know Password", it says I need to log in from another device signed into iCloud or reset my end-to-end encrypted data. Can I do this through iTunes on my computer? I don't know how.
