Persistent "audio disconnected" notification alert

When connecting to a meeting on my MacBook Pro (running Ventura 13.1) with my AirPods connected, I am seeing a persistent Notification Alert from Continuity Camera of Audio Disconnected - "iPhone 11" microphone is not available.

I do use the Continuity Camera feature with my iPhone 11 when streaming YouTube and it works just fine. Any idea why I am getting this and/or how I can disable this annoying Alert?

I was able to stop notifications only by disabling continuity (the feature that allows iPhone to be used as a webcam) on my iPhone.

On the iPhone, go to Settings > General > Airplay & Handoff, and disable "Continuity Camera".
