I have a 2014 Mac mini with Big Sur OSi and using Logic X with an Apollo Twin Thuderbolt connection. I keep getting the spinning wheel. I suspect it is Logic X causing the issue. Any suggestions besides rebooting?

Thanks for reaching out MacPaulMKE,

It sounds like you're having trouble with your Mac mini. We can help.

A great step you can take is to see if the issue occurs in a different user account on your Mac mini. If it goes away, that means the issue is with some setting in your user profile. If the issue remains, you can Start up your Mac in safe mode next, as "starting up your Mac in safe mode can help you identify whether issues you’re experiencing are caused by software that loads as your Mac starts up".

Give that a try, and see if there is any change. If not, you can Contact Apple for support and service.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
