Watch Face Behavior

I like the Apple Watch face "Solar Dial." However it has become disoriented. The dial is supposed to show sunrise and sunset. For some reason it shows sunrise at 10:20, when it is actually 7:30. The time is displayed correctly, but the daylight arc is misplaced. Can anyone tell me how to correct this?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for reaching out TechThule,

It sounds like your Apple Watch is displaying the wrong time. We can help.

The face might be showing the wrong time based on the time zone your device is set to.

Check out these steps If you can't change the time or time zone on your Apple device.

Hope that helps.

Take care.

Thank you for your reply.

I'm afraid I was not clear. My Apple watch displays the time correctly.

My question was about the Watch Face "Solar Dial."

When working properly, "Solar Dial" displays the hours of daylight as an arc fraction of a 24 hour day.

So, at my latitude, it would show sunrise at 7:30 and sunset at 5:20.

Lately the watch face displays sunrise at 10:30 and sunset at 8:20 (approximately).

The time is correct, but the predicted hours of sunrise and sunset are way off. So it has nothing to do with time zone. To be useful, this Watch Face should have access to the sunrise and sunset data from some source, such as "Weather." That link appears broken.

I recognize this is way down the value chain for Apple. I guess I expect too much.
