My iPhone is visible in the left margin of the finder.
The indication onscreen is "loading..."
Restarting the iPhone doesn't change.
Replacing the phone chord connecting cable to the Mac Laptop didn't help.
Resetting the MacPro laptop running 10.15.7, running Cocktail and restarting seemed to solve the problem for now. I've seen this same issue before in various forms....iphone not talking to laptop. Sometimes I think it can happen if iPhone SW is not up to date.
This time it was the laptop but not sure what wasn't working.
