I'm having similar issues with my NEW Airpods Pro 2. I honestly don't know why everyone is raving about them. For me, the ANC does NOT work. I have an old (circa 2007) pair of wired Bose cans and they work MUCH better at ANC than the AirPods.

I have tried everything, but nothing works.

When I put them on just now I could hear a car passing outside, the birds chirping, the door being banged. So they don't measure up to the hype, IMHO and experience.
