How to search for hidden files
Is it possible to search for hidden files?
For example, I want to find all files where:
Name contains "XYZ"
File size is greater than 1MB
File is hidden OR contained in a hidden folder
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.3
Yes but I can't find a way to use the Finder search to do that. Not only is it very slow there are some locations Finder will not search, and I was unable to successfully get it to do what you want.
Instead, I recommend using EasyFind or Find Any File. The latter is in the Mac App Store. EasyFind is downloadable from its developer's website. They're both equally good.
