[Solved] “Downloading accessory firmware” iOS 16/HDMI adapter problem

I don’t know if this is where I should post this, but I was having trouble with plugging in my phone into my hdmi adapter after updating to iOS 16, and I saw other people were having the same problem. Nobody had the right answer on the forums. So I did some digging and saw a solution online. Just go to settings > Face ID & Passcodes > turn on USB Accessories and that worked for me. Hopefully it works for you. Just wanted to spread the word to the fellow hdmi adapter users. Thank you
