Issues with Email "Undo Send" feature.

I have an iPhone 8 SE. After the IOS 16 update that included the new "Undo Send" feature, I found that if I sent an email and immediately closed out the window, some sent emails would just dissappear into a black hole. Not received by recipient, not in Sent or Draft folders, or any other folder. Just GONE and unrecoverable! I discovered by waiting 10 seconds before closing out the Mail window, the message was sent and saved in Sent folder. Turning OFF the "Undo Send" feature in Settings Mail, fixed the problem. Anyone else have that problem?

Hello D3jskdad,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. Let's ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS 16.2. Updating the iOS provides software improvements that can help. You can see if an update is available by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Now if your iPhone is already updated, we recommend to remove your email account and re-add it. From there, let's test and see if you continue to experience the same behavior. If needed, here's how to perform this step:

  1. To remove the email account, you can go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Select your emails account > Delete Account.

2. To re-add the email account, you can go back in Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account. Then follow the prompts to add your email account.

Best regards.
