Where have the PERIOD and COMMA keys gone, on the iPad OS 15 keyboard?

They used to be there on the iOS 5 keyboard, but pressing shift, or the numbers and symbols key, or both in combination, on iPad OS 15, show no keys that offer either symbol :(

For customers who feel the need to punctuate, and haven't been initiated into any secret handshake based, private members club, with protected secrets, please restore the keys ASAP.

While your at it, also restore the permanent: COPY, CUT and PASTE keys, or at-least add an option for them to remain on the tool bar.

I haven’t run iOS 15 since I updated to iOS 16 in October. I quickly forget different things and nuances in the past iOS versions.

Try tapping on either the exclamation mark key or the question mark key and see what you type. I think that one should be the period and one should be the comma. Then use the shift key and I think that’s when you will get the exclamation mark or the question mark.

Are you using a floating keyboard? That looks like the issue.

I see the same punctuation as the US keyboard. Note the return and shift characters differ between the US keyboard in my response above and the UK keyboard shown here.
