Most of you who read my idiotic questions probably know that I recently bought an Apple Watch SE (from 2022 if that matters). I did a little reading and discovered that the ION-X display of the Apple Watch SE is more prone to scratching than the sapphire crystal display of the Series 8. I was wondering if any of you would recommend buying a case for my Apple Watch. If not, then what objects should I keep it away from?

That's a personal decision. If scratches would annoy you (they'd surely annoy me), then yes a case and screen protector would be a good investment.

Yes, I find scratches very annoying, especially on a shiny new $250 watch. Thanks for your answer
You're welcome. Your question is why I only ever bought my Apple Watch in Stainless and now own the Ultra in Titanium.
