I lost all touch sensitivity on my iPhone. How do I attach a mouse t work the touch screen instead of my fingers?

How do I connect a mouse to my iPhone so I can back up data to my mac. My iPhone screen has lost touch sensitivity and I am hoping I can click on choices instead of tapping with my fingers.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities Carol,

First, if your iPhone isn't responding to touch. We recommend trying the steps recommended to resolve this type of issue, here: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad

If connecting a Bluetooth mouse, it's required that you're able to access Settings through the device screen.

You can learn about connecting a mouse from this page: How to use a pointer device with AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Take care!
