I have a iPhone 12 and while texting text will appear I did not text. It does it a lot and very frustrating!

After upgrading to iOS 17.0.2 I can't type long text messages I have an iPhone 11, and after upgrading to iOS 17.0.2 I cannot type long text messages longer than 4 lines. As soon as i start entering characters on the 5th line the text entry box wont display characters I type, and when I hit enter, only the first 4 lines show, everything after that is blank. Why is my iPhone 16 Pro Max screen unresponsive? Brand new iPhone 16 pro max. Typing on this is miserable, especially in the messages app. Texting is borderline unusable. It is completely missing inputs in the keyboards and entire words are missing. I typed this on my iPhone and it’s taking me so long. My 13 pro max that I upgraded from is significantly better.
